National Branding recently partnered with Everside Health located in Indian River County, Vero Beach, Florida, on a project that presented an intriguing challenge. The project involved creating a visually appealing signage solution for the health center’s exterior, situated at a high-traffic intersection of Indian River Blvd. and 37th St.
Initially, the client requested a white vinyl wall logo sign. However, upon installation, it became evident that the lack of contrast against the wall posed visibility issues. National Branding recognized the importance of meeting the customer’s desires while ensuring technical feasibility. To address this challenge, the team opted to print Everside Health’s colored logo directly onto the aluminum surface instead of using vinyl.
However, the unevenness of the surface posed another challenge, making it difficult for the vinyl decal to adhere smoothly. This led to issues such as bubbles and eventually peeling. To overcome this obstacle, National Branding considered two solutions: crafting a new aluminum piece with the color graphic or fixing the graphic to another material and layering it over the existing logo. Despite a slight gap due to the VHB tape used for adhesion, the team ensured a seamless and professional finish.
